  • I am a creative strategist. As a self-taught graphic designer and digital marketer, I enjoy storytelling, art, design and analytics. With 11 years of experience in digital, content and brand marketing, I’ve designed digital strategies and delivered campaigns for renowned education brands in United Arab Emirates, Spain, Switzerland and Ireland.

  • The world of work is changing. Of course, freelancing and traditional employment paths have their unique set of advantages and challenges.

    As a freelancer, my work setup allows greater flexibility and creative autonomy. As an independent marketer, I like to think beyond typical or traditional office hours. I feel this leads to higher levels of productivity for certain individuals (speaking from experience!) and as a night owl, I thrive as a freelancer.

    On the flip side, companies who hire freelancers will thrive too. In my opinion, companies can benefit from hiring external consultants or freelancers, as this heavily reduces overall costs for the organisation.

    Freelancers are responsible for their own time, health insurance, visa and professional development; freelancers will charge clients for their skillset and time spent on marketing goals and needs - that’s it!

    I’d always dreamt of freelancing, trying something new, going solo, trusting my own creative input and decision making, but admittedly, it took a year or two to make the move to the freelancing space, and to leave a stable 9-to-5 corporate job.

    My journey to freelancing has been full of discovery. Since 2023, it’s been a very fulfilling ride to work with education brands and other consultants who want to make a difference in the world…story at a time.
